Padme got up, got dressed, and then she headed into the living room.
Mom, Dad, what are you doing here? Padme stopped in the middle of the room.
Well, good morning, sweetie. We are here to take you to the transport center. Um, is Anakin here? Ruwee stood up from the chair and came over to Padme and hugged her.
Oh, sorry. Morning. Oh, you guys really did not have to come all the way here to take me to the transport center. He had to be on Coruscant for some Jedi stuff. Padme hugged her father, then going over to her mother.
Captain Typho has the air shuttle loaded, Padme. Oh, hello, Mr. and Mrs. Naberrie. It is nice to see you both again. Dorme came into the house and stopped, when she saw Padmes parents standing in the living room with Padme.
Dorme, it is so nice to see you. Am sorry to hear about your grandmother. Jobal let Padme go and looked at the other young girl that came into the room.
Thank you, Mrs. Naberrie. She is going to be missed very much. I know that I already miss her very much. Dorme gave Jobal a small smile, just as the door open up and Captain Typho came into the room.
Oh, excuse me, Padme, but we are ready to leave now. Captain Typho looked at Padme and just realized that her parents were also here with her.
Thank you, Captain. Well, if you want to come with us, then please follow us. Padme nodded to her head of security, before looking at her parents.
Sure. We will follow you to the transport center. Ruwee nodded, as the small group began heading out of the house and to the speeder.
They all walked down the path to the waiting air shuttle. When they all got into the shuttle, Ruwee helped both Padme and Jobal, before getting into the shuttle himself. Captain Typho helped Dorme into the shuttle, before he got in, just before the driver followed him and shut the door and took them all to the main transport center, which was just outside the city of Theed. Twenty minutes later, the air shuttle landed and everyone got out of the shuttle. Then, they walked to the ramp of the ship.

Bye, Mom. Yes, I will call you when I get there. Bye, Daddy. Padme smiled at her mother, before she went over to her father and gave him a hug goodbye too.
Bye, Paddy. You have a safe trip and we will see you in three months, for the celebration of Life Festival. Ruwee hugged his baby girl, and called her by his nickname for her.
Yes, I will be back here by then. Love you guys. Padme smiled and pulled away from her father.
Padme turned from them and walked up the ramp. In the middle of the ramp, she turned around and waved at her parents, before turning around again and headed into the ship.
On Coruscant, at the Jedi Temple, there was a ceremony that is about to happen very soon. Anakin went to the turbo-lift and waited for the lift to show up on the floor that his quarters are on. It was two weeks ago, that Obi-Wan had left Naboo and Dorme, to come back here to Coruscant. He had to go to a Council meeting, in which he learned that the Council had voted to make him a member of the High Jedi Council, and because of that, it could also mean one thing.
Hey, Anakin. You want to have lunch with me? a female Padawan came up to him, as he waited for the lift.
Oh, hey. Um . . . am sorry, but I cant. Am needed in the Council Chambers, but thank you anyway. Anakin smiled at the young girl, who was only two years younger than him.
The girl just nodded and then went on her way, while Anakin stepped onto the turbo-lift. The lift stopped at the Council Chambers, the doors open and Anakin stepped out of the lift. He stood there for a couple of seconds, looking around the small hallway. Anakin the began walking down the short hallway and stopped in front of the two Temple Guards, who was standing in front of the doors of the Chambers. One of the Guards turned slightly and knocked on the door, just before it opened up. The Guard gave Anakin a slight nod, then Anakin walked into the chamber. He noticed that all the members of the Council were standing in a circle with their lightsabers active. He walked into the middle of the circle and knelt down in front of Master Yoda. Then, each member all said something about Anakin, before he bowed his head. Master Yoda raised his lightsaber, before reciting the passage that has been recited for thousands of years.
By the light of the Council, by the will of the Force, I dub thee Knight of the Republic. Yoda lowered his blade to Anakins shoulder. In a swift motion, he cut loose Anakins Padawan braid, which fell to the floor.
The room lit up and the Jedi Masters shut down their lightsabers, before standing up. Anakin picked up his braid, then he stood up, bowed to all the Masters, before heading out of the Chambers and going back to his and Obi-Wans Quarters. Going to his junk trunk, he began to dig around until he found a small box. He opened up the small box and saw that it was empty. He put the braid into the box and sat it down on the nightstand, so that way, he will not forget it, when he sees Padme, when she comes back to Coruscant tomorrow.
Congratulation, Anakin. Am so very proud of you. Obi-Wan came into the room.
Thank you, Obi-Wan. So, what will happen now? Anakin sat down on his bed.
Well, we will now get our own quarters. I get a feeling that I know where you will be most of your time. Obi-Wan gave a small laugh.
Not all the time. I will spend some time here too. What about you? Are you going to be at the same place too? Anakin saw Obi-Wan blush, before he began stroking his beard.
Ok, smarty. Well, I dont about you, but am hungry. Dexs and am buying. Obi-Wan stood and went to the door.
You are on. I am craving Nerf Ribs and Spice Ribs. Anakin got up off his bed and followed Obi-Wan out of the room.
They got to their speeder and Obi-Wan drove them to Dexters Diner, where they had lunch of a burger and ribs, which was followed by spice cake. After lunch, Obi-Wan took Anakin to the Outlander Club and they got one drink, before heading back to the Temple, so that way, they could practice their lightsaber combat moves.
Padme went into her quarters and shut the door, before going over to the bed. She sat down, before grabbing her com-link and dialed Anakins com-link.
Anakin, here. Anakin answered his com-link, as he sat down on his bed.
Hey. I am letting you know that we will be home shortly before dinner. If you like, you can join me for dinner. Obi-Wan can come too, if he is not busy. Padme crossed her legs on the bed.
I will join you for dinner. As for Obi-Wan, am not sure what his plans are for tonight. Anakin ran his fingers through his wet hair.
Ok. The dinner will be held between six-thirty and seven. I will see you then. Padme uncrossed her legs and stood up, when there was a knock on her door.
Ok. See you soon then. Love you, Paddy. Anakin smiled and looked up, as Obi-Wan came into the room.
I love you too, Ani. Bye. Padme turned off her communication.
Let me guess, you are having dinner with her and stay the night? Obi-Wan went over to his bed and sat down on it.
That is the plan. She even invited you to dinner also. Anakin got up, went to the trunk and pulled out his new Jedi Knight clothes.
I wish I could join you, but I have to do some research on a custom of a tribe, on a planet that am going to, in a couple of weeks. Obi-Wan watched Anakin get dress in his new clothes.
Ok, I will let Dorme know. Um, how do I look? Anakin looked at Obi-Wan and gave him a cocky smile.
That looks good on you. Well, it is time to meditate, so I suggest that you do the same thing, until it is time for you to go. Obi-Wan got up and headed for the door.
Anakin followed and they both headed for the Room of Thousand Fountains. They did their meditation until it was time for dinner, and for Anakin to head over to Padmes apartment.
Dinner will be ready in about ten minutes. Dorme came into the living room and looked down at Padme.
Thank you, Dorme. So, are you and Obi-Wan will be joining Anakin and I for dinner? Padme looked up at her handmaiden.
No, not tonight. It will be just you and Anakin. Obi-Wan had something to do. He has to get ready for a mission and I think tonight, I would like to have a quiet night by myself, and give you and Anakin some private time together. Speaking of the person.... Dorme smiled, as there was a knock on the door. Dorme went to the kitchen as Padme opened the door and Anakin stood there.
My Angel. was all he could sa,y when he came into the room and Padme was in his arms.
Ani, am so glad to see you. Oh, my gods! You are a Jedi Knight? Padme stood back and noticed that Anakin was not wearing his regular Padawan clothes.
Yes, I am now a Jedi Knight. I was Knighted this afternoon. Anakin smiled at his wife, who he had not seen in a couple of weeks.
Oh my, your braid is gone too. Well, I can say that you look so very handsome. I cant wait to run my fingers through your hair. Padme looked closer and saw that he was clean and spiked up.
Padme grabbed Anakins hand and led him to the kitchen, when she saw Dorme motion that dinner was ready. Dorme said goodnight and took her dinner to her room and let the Skywalkers have a quiet night to themselves. After dinner, they went into their bedroom. Before they started anything, Anakin pulled out the small box.
This is for you. Anakin held out the small box to Padme.
Ok, thank you. Oh my, Ani . . . your braid. Padme opened the box and saw the braid. She went over to the dresser drawer, opened it up and pulled out a box. She opened it up and showed Anakin that this was her keepsake box and put the small box in with the letters, and the Jaspar Snipet in it, before putting back into the drawer and locking it up.
Then, after two hours of love making, they cuddled up in each others arms and drifted to sleep.
